Bay Rose House B&B, Cheddar, Somerset

We have now stopped operating as a bed and breakfast establishment as Andrea has now returned to teaching at Bridgwater College and Martin is fully occupied with his slot car and web design businesses, as well as running the web sites for Cheddar Village and the NSCC.

 

Guest rooms have mostly been reallocated to the children or set aside for visiting family and friends. We are still here, but please note our enquiries email address has been closed - although you can still email us or the kids using our first names "@" the bayrose.co.uk domain.

 

For ideas for other places to stay, the next nearest B&B establishments to us in the Gorge are The Gordons or Cox's Mill Hotels. For self-catering accommodation nearby there is also The Bays Farmhouse and new "Gorge View" holiday apartments above Forte's Ice Cream Parlour.

Meantime we are pleased to be free of the endless room cleaning and changing, hospitality sector telesales callers, junk mail and spam email, and all the red tape and paperwork associated with annual accounts, fire safety, food safety, noise safety, premises licensing, PRS / phonographic perfomance licensing, local council and Visit Britain assessments! Gone are the days (if they ever existed) when running a B&B was straightforward. You would not believe it!
