ON BUSINESS

Cheddar is not just for holidays - we regularly cater for people visiting the area on business, maybe contractors or visitors working at the Cheddar Business Park, or sales reps or van drivers passing through the area, as well as corporate bookings.

Perhaps you are on one of the Mammal Society's Dormouse Ecology courses in Cheddar? Or working on a nearby environmental or archaeological project. Maybe you are in airline pilot training at the nearby Bristol Ground School. Our accommodation is also used by parents and visitors to Somerset's well-known Millfield School, about 20-25 minutes drive away.

If you are in the area on business - a course, a meeting, or just visiting clients - and prefer something rather less impersonal than a hotel, you are more than welcome to stay with us. Single room occupancy is not a problem and we can cope with early starts and late arrivals too.

Subject to availability we can also cater for longer stays Monday-Thursday, for example if you are working in the area on a short term contract. We can even keep some of your belongings here for you at weekends, so you don't have to take the whole lot home, and can normally offer a discounted rate throughout your stay.

Internet access

We provide a broadband-enabled laptop in the guests lounge for you to check your email and surf the internet. There is also a fax send/receive facility here.
