Bay Rose House, Cheddar, Somerset Welcome to Cheddar
Stay at Bay Rose House, a 19th century English country cottage providing bed and breakfast accommodation in Cheddar, Somerset, UK. Andrea and Martin offer comfortable accommodation in the friendly environment of a small family home - set in one of the most beautiful areas of the English countryside. Our ground floor double en-suite room is available for let on a B&B basis most weekends, with cooked breakfasts available Saturday and Sunday mornings. The room can also be booked for weekdays but with self-service continental breakfasts only on school day mornings. If we are unable to accommodate you for the date you require, we will be able to suggest some alternative establishments nearby.
We can cater for special dietary needs, and breakfasts
are made with home made, local, organic and free trade supplies. We have
our own on-site parking right here in the Gorge, are a completely non-smoking
environment and are less than five minutes walk from a number of local
pubs and restaurants serving evening meals.
There is plenty to do in Cheddar and
the surrounding area with activities and places to visit suitable
for all weathers. We are right in the entrance to the Gorge, just a
few minutes walk from the caves and also the Cheese Company.
If
you have stayed with us before, and you are in
need of bed and breakfast for a family of 3 or 4, please get in touch
anyway, as we may be able to offer more room/stay options within
the domestic part of the house or at another nearby establishment.
Most other rooms previously set aside for guests' use
are no longer available as they have now been appropriated
by our children and our other business ventures. Payment is
by cash or cheque on departure, or cheque or Paypal in advance. Sorry we
no longer take credit cards (other than via Paypal).
